Mikfepris is an emergency contraceptive used to help prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex or birth control failure.
It contains Mifepristone 10mg and should be taken as soon as possible, and within 120 hours or 5 days after intercourse for best results. Mikfepris is up to 98 percent effective within 24 hours and remains about 85 percent effective up to 120 hours.
The pill works by blocking pregnancy hormones and preventing ovulation and implantation.
